Banana Pudding

this is why i stay so slim (right!)...this recipe is from Paula Dean..she is a wonderfully fun cook on Food network tv...i saw her make this a few years ago and have brought this to potlucks and it is a big success!!

Not Yo Moma's Banana Pudding
2 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies
6 to 8 bananas, sliced
2 cups milk
1 (5-ounce) box instant French vanilla pudding
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping thawed, or equal amount sweetened whipped cream

Line the bottom of a 13 by 9 by 2-inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and layer bananas on top.
In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended. Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and cover with the remaining cookies. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Oh my - banana puddin', if only I had the time, I'd have to try this one out NOW :D Hubby loves banana pudding, so I have to just store the recipy and get to it at a later time. And Paula Dean is just the funniest, most entertaining cook out there - course it helps that she's a southern lady ;)

We're currently renovating the master bathroom, kind of sneaked in before going on vacation (and probably will be left to finish once we come back, but it's a start).
Have a great weekend, I know the sun, warmth, and spring is right now on the way to Boston (just gotta be!). But - you are living in a fantastic area, no matter what temperatures are like, that's what matters! :)

Oh that sounds sooo good. I might have to try that one - i'll leave out the cookies, they might get in the way.

Thanks for finding all the great Disney stuff for me. You know I love it and can't seem to get enough.
