Hermits

I have been craving Hermits for days....so i went online (let's not talk about the 100s of cookbooks i have) and came upon this recipe on this blog..(a great blog doing all Martha Stewart's cookies before she graduates from college) I made them without the icing (less calories....right!!) They are GREAT!! I have made many Hermits and the candied ginger in these just kicked it up a notch...and , yes, the house smells wonderful!!!!

We spent a great evening with Rebecca/Shawn and the kids....we ordered out and just chilled..(as much as you can with those little sweeties!)

Joe Louis Walker

Went to the Bull Run last night and heard some great music!! The opening act was Mighty Bad Habits...Great!! Than came the legendary Joe Walker!! and who was in the audience?? Ronnie Earl...he went up and did some amazing guitar with Mr Walker....i am tired today....but smiling!

So Good!!

So this was Sunday's dinner...Roast Beef, potatoes, mushroom gravy,honey glazed baby carrots, and these popovers....I have to say ...it was pretty darn good.....I think of myself as a good cook but i am afraid of Roast Beef...I will buy a pot roast and make a mean yankee dinner but to do a good cut roast has always intimidated me...cause i don't want to ruin it...and I like it rare to medium rare and it has not always worked out so I avoid it...BUT Sundays came out Great!!

Lazy

I am just not with it lately when it comes to "the blog"....have not done any layouts but i have been doing a lot of cooking...I should get those pictures and recipes up...taking an on-line course over at Jessica's...IllustratorCS4 and will start another one on Jan18 on how to use a Wacom Tablet (mine has just been sitting here for a year...just had to have it)...been playing with my new cell phone (it syncs with my new car and i just need to use voice commands and all comes out of my car radio...no hands) also, just had to have a GPS and so when the one i had been thinking about went on sale (online with amazon...what a deal) just had to buy it and than all the assessories were needed....my family can't understand why i bought this cause i don't like to drive anywhere...well, now maybe i will cause i'll know how to get there...lol!!
