I should be working on my 365 Project...I have the layouts with all the pictures done for the month of March but have not completed the journalling...i much prefer word art...journalling is a challenge for me ... i'll get those done and posted this week....but in the meantime i did the photo challenge(Diptch...look that one up) over at Jessica's...

St.Patrick's Day

just finished the corned beef and cabbage...i only make this once a year on St.Patrick's Day (no, not irish) and i wonder why i only do this once...it is easy to make and Mike LOVES it.....go figure...the leftovers go into a hash which i lovingly call "bubble and squeak", a name my English father gave it...here is the layout for the second day at Oscraps .....100% supplies from oscraps designers.....

Oscraps.com is 3 years old....and they are having a Party all week....today's challengeis the above layout...using 100% oscrap supplies....3 papers, 3 elements, three line journalling, 3 words in title.......

Assignment #4

Do you believe I woke up to SNOW all over the place...yesterday was 60 degrees and ohhhhhhhhhh so nice...now the second snow storm of the day is coming down.....it is pretty and it won't last...right??!!

Here is my fourth homework assignment with Photo Editing...one more to go.....lovin this class!! so many pictures i can save now!!

Having some trouble with blogger today...everything comes up but the "posts"...going to go and see what is up....maybe this will fix it.....

Apple Nut Cake

I haven't made this in years...one of the "old" recipes i found...it's a good thing i am typing them in this blog for the paper they are written on is falling apart.....

Apple Nut Cake
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 cup veg.oil
1 can (20oz) apple pie filling
1.5 teaspoons vanilla
Mix dry ingredients with nuts. Add eggs, oil, filling and vanilla and mix well. Bake in 10 inch greased tub pan for about 1 hour at 350 degrees. DO NOT remove from pan until completely cooled

Frosting
6 oz cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup confectionery sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 Tablespoons milk
Whip all ingredients until fluffy and spread on top of cake

Enjoy!!!!!!

Boy, am I getting "edumacated" on photo editing...Love this class...never thought I could learn this much in such a short time...Jessica is amazing! Anyone who wishes to learn photography, photo editing, digital scrapbooking needs to go and visit her site!! More tomorrow.....
