In Your Back Yard

Rutland, Vermont

mike and i did a day trip to Rutland ,Vt our home town....mike visited with old high school friends for lunch and i had lunch with my mother and aunt....beautiful drive and once we hit Vermont and saw those Green Mountains a warm feeling just ran thru me....first time back since mike's  family does not live there (his mom moved down near us in october)...my mom is 81 and is doing well but this whole trip pushed home that we are all getting older and things do change...going to make the trip more often...next time will stay longer and visit with other members of my family...

Another Birthday

Here is my Rebecca with her husband....Today she is 38 years old....When did that Happen!!!????

Birthday

Mike is 62 today.....that means i am not that far behind....to think i started dating him at age 14...WOW! He looks good!! here he is at Yellowstone this past summer!! Happy Birthday Michael!!

The Roof

well....about 8 men are all over my roof....replacing the top and replacing all the wood under the gutters....and the dogs are barking....and i will not go crazy....This was contracted before we had all that snow...it is amazing that they can find a place for their ladders to do this job....Tons of stuff just fell to the ground...and the dogs started up again...But just think...one thing on the long "to do list" will be done...than we are going to have to have the ceilings repaired in the two downstairs rooms that were damaged because of ice damns.....and the list goes on.....

Here is a layout from the second lesson from Jessica's Class...i am behind but that is ok....this one had so many new techniques that i had to take it slow....love these classes!!

My Brain was Challenged

WoW....this advanced class for digital scrapbooking is FABULOUS...every turn was a new learning experience!! Love Jessica's Classes!! and Love Photoshop!!

Ice on Roof

Two men are now on my roof trying to break up all the ice!! Water came dripping from my bathroom cieling and the corner of my computer room (not near the computer..thank you) this weekend..Mike has been removing the snow from the front with a roof rake after each storm...(snow is up to his waist so not a fun thing to do)...and more snow/rain coming tonight....i can't wait until Spring!!!
