I made them put on the hats....it is a party...right?

Went to Vermont this weekend t0 be with family....My mother turned 80 and I bought lobsters and steamers and we had a grand ol' time....my aunt (who lives with my mother) turned 70 this month so we doubled the celebration....We stayed with my mother-in-law who is 86 and she has more energy than i have....It is always a bit "strange" when i return to my "hometown" for it brings up good and not so good memories...I have been living here longer than i did in Vermont but there is still "that connection"...

Nice Evening

What a nice evening we had for Valentines Day....we went out to dinner at a new restaurant..Cafe Madrid....very good!! and i was given a chocolate covered strawberry on a long stick...so yummy! Than off to the theatre to see the opening of "Black Pearl"....wonderful play!!...Valentine cards, dinner and theatre...not bad after 40 years of marriage...lol

Pen Tablet

I am taking a class at Jessica's on how to use this tablet....now, i have owned this little darling for awhile but did not have a clue on how to utilize this with Photoshop...well, this class is GREAT!! today we had a live webinar with Jess and Wes from Wacom...very informative...I am just struggling with this "eye- hand coordination"...but i know with practice i will get it!! So far the short cuts for a digital scrapbooker are worth the price of this class!

SuperBowl Sunday

Mike is watching the game...in his room with the door closed...eating three big hamburgers...the dogs and i are staying out of his way...lol...Last night we went to dinner at PapaRazzi Resturant with Barb, David, Maxine, and Jerry....good food and good company!! My favorite on the menu is Speghetti alla Bolognese...MMMMmmmmm... i ate the whole bowl! Brings me back to when Rebecca would waitress at the Concord Resturant and Sarah did the same at the Georgetown Resturant....good, fresh Italian food!!

Saw Arthur Miller's All My Sons last night.....very Powerful and great performance by all...After the show went out to dinner at the Agean...oh, dear...love Greek food and we ordered and ordered and ordered....neatless to say, i don't have to cook tonight...leftovers of greek appetizers, greek salad, rack of lamb....etc...etc....etc!!!
